(Irish) (Kiwi)
Our Irish HQ - the Lismar Guesthouse/Serviced Apartments. Coming from half way around the world in New Zealand, we needed to find a home away from home. And here we found it... This place is fully of character, built around 100 years ago in the Edwardian period. Co-incidently, the period was named during the reign of King Edward VII (1901-1910) - who was fond of travelling and the period was marked by an enthusiasm for the art and fashions of continental Europe.
It was difficult not to fall in love with this Art-nouveau residence, and so we occupied the 3rd floor penthouse for most of 2006. On a clear, sunny day we problably had one the best views in Dundalk. OK, not much to brag about, but still. Arriving at the peak of a blistering Irish winter, we were quickly toasted with gas fired heaters in every corner of the house. We have definitely been spoilt living here - not having to clean the bathroom or change our sheets or wash our towels!!! A thumbs up without doubt.

If the big green fruit is a kiwi, I guess so, did my daughter mean that she came from a kiwi country by showing such a close-up size of a kiwi fruit in front of the DC?!
