Excuse my ignorance, but I've never appreciated autumn as a pleasant (or for that matter, beautiful) season. If anything, it's a rather depressing time as the wind and rain and the "turn your clock backwards by 1 hr" ruthlessly remind me that winter (the even more depressing season) is not far off. But this year is a little different. Well, I'm referring more to the breath-taking, attractive scene I was lucky enough to be part of in Austria, rather than the truly harsh, hit-you-on-the-face coldness and darkness in Ireland. Everywhere in Salzburg and Vienna was lined with leaves of differnet shades of orange and yellow and red: the climbing plants on people's houses; the shrubs which were trimmed into fences; the big, tall, strong trees that have stood more autumns than you've seen; and the leaf litter they carelssly created. It doesn't take long before you are helplessly immersed into the delightful backdrop, and wonder why you've never seen autumn as it rightly deserved to be.

First of all, please my daughter accept my warmest congratulations to building her own blog carrying a personal name of GAGA V which stands for lots of meanings behind!
Such a beautiful photo displaying so many tall tress firmly stadning in a very relaxing attitude plus those yellow leaves lying lazily on the road in fact has formed a colourful painting rather than a photo being taken by a cyber DC. The ambience immediately brings one to a state from grey to bright, from Ireland to Austria as far as one's feeling is concerned.
Autumn can be very beautiful and also leads up to my favourite season: winter. If you thought Austria looked good in autumn, wait till you see the forests here go yellow, red and crimson in the fall. It's really a beautiful sight.
Snow though, kicks ass regardless of what my mom says.
